AI and future of online business

Have you been leveraging the power of AI for your online business? If not, it’s time to start using it. Nowadays, I personally utilize AI for both personal and professional purposes.

AI and future of your online business

You can instruct AI to generate a blog post on a specific topic, outline a course, or even write a sales page – practically anything you can imagine. It’s an incredible tool for generating ideas. However, it’s important to exercise caution because the information provided by AI may not always be accurate. You need to verify the information to ensure its truthfulness.

With AI, you can achieve online “success” effortlessly. You can create courses, podcasts, and various types of content without having to produce everything yourself. It may sound daunting, but let me share something interesting. I recently listened to an interview with Seth Godin where he mentioned that AI had generated a highly accurate and impressive podcast interview with him.

If we consider the future impact of AI on online business, it’s likely that finding everything for free on the internet won’t be as prevalent. We already have access to free knowledge today. You can learn anything online without spending a dime, whether it’s losing weight, playing the piano, or mastering math. The challenge lies in implementing the necessary actions.

As online business owners, we must consider the exponential rise of free content thanks to AI. To stand out and attract customers, you need to offer something unique. In the future, I believe that individuals who lead real lives and possess authority will experience greater success online. For example, if you hold a Ph.D., teach at a university, and also write books and provide online teaching as a side gig, you’ll be seen as more authentic and special compared to someone who simply craves attention and has only learned about a topic for the past three months.

Now, I’m not implying that having a Ph.D. and an in-person job are necessary. However, your ideal clients should find evidence that you are a genuine person with real-world experience in the subject you teach. People won’t choose those who pretend to know everything and have written a book. Nowadays, anyone can create a course on any topic, complete with exceptional content and a captivating sales page, solely using AI. Likewise, anyone can let AI write a book on their desired subject.

So, what am I trying to convey in this email? You need to be more authentic and demonstrate to people that you have real-world experience with real individuals, not just an online presence. When you write or teach, ensure that people can perceive the authenticity behind your work, rather than dismissing it as AI-generated content.

PS. Initially, I wrote the first version of this post, and then I employed AI to enhance the fluency and make it sound as if a native US English speaker had written it. However, in the future, this approach may become less appealing. People might start disliking things that seem “perfect” because they’ll assume they were generated by AI. 🙂
